****Important**** A Linen & Towel Package is included for all rentals between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend only. The package includes linens for all the beds and sleeper sofa, where applicable, as well as towel sets equal to max occupancy, a bathmat for each full bathroom and 2 kitchen towels. For rentals outside of that timeframe, guests will need to bring their own or we have a rental option upon request.
This 2 BR 2 BA end unit feels much larger than the other units in the building and its location insulates you from hallway noise.
It features a full kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless-steel appliances for those nights you want to eat in. You'll enjoy TVs in every room, a DVD player, wireless internet and a washer & dryer. Best of all, this building has some incredible amenities. You will have access to the heated indoor pool, sauna, fitness center and two championship billiard tables.
This unit is conveniently located to the beach (1.5 blocks), Convention center (2 blocks) and Seacrets (3 blocks). You are also strategically located to enjoy numerous restaurants, the world-famous boardwalk, Jolly Roger's Amusement Park, miniature golf and much more!

THINGS TO KNOW:
* Contactless check-in process. No waiting in line for a key.
*This is a non-smoking/non-vaping unit.
* Sorry no pets allowed.
* This unit does not rent to graduating seniors or to parents renting on behalf of graduating seniors. Sorry, no exceptions. All individuals in a non-family group must be a minimum of 25. The minimum age for groups increases to 30 on holiday weekends.
* This condo is on the 5th floor. There is an elevator.
* Two uncovered parking spots are provided. Trailers allowed during special events with prior registration.
* The indoor pool, billiards room and sauna are open year-round.
(We cannot control when any amenity closes due to an emergency or for standard maintenance.)
* Quick access to the beach.
* The boardwalk runs from the inlet to 27th street. This condo is on 43rd street.
* We provide a welcome packet which includes toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels, dish washing liquid, and dishwasher pods.
* No extra stop at a separate office location required. Guests will receive complete check-in information via email prior to arrival.
* TV's can be a combo of cable and/or streaming. TV viewing options are chosen by the property owner.
* The sleep total of 6 is the maximum occupancy allowed, including children and infants.

We had a very nice stay at the Makai 507 property. The rental company was helpful and check-in went well. Building security was very friendly as were other condo owners we met during our stay. The property was perfect for our group and convenient to all of our activities. It was very convenient to have the linen package there upon arrival. The condo was clean and well stocked which was so wonderful.

The rental was beautifully decorated and had most things needed to cook the occasional meal. Great location near performing arts center and convention center by the bay. You can see the ocean from the balcony above the rooftops across the street. The linen package was included, but I was surprised that the beds were not made up. The towels and sheets are left inside the front door in big blue bags. You have to make all the beds yourself. I’ve never encounter that.

Our agreement with the linen rental company is that the linens arrive, wrapped in plastic, and that their drivers drop off just inside the door. Other companies utilize cleaning teams to make beds and the cost for that extra duty is passed on to the guests. We prefer to do what we can to keep costs low and keep the cleaning team focused on cleaning. We know we're a little different in how we do linens, so we describe the process in the check-in instructions we send so there's no surprises. We're so glad to hear you enjoyed the condo. We had a great time. This propery is clean and well maintained. This is the second time we stayed here and plan to stay in this condo again. It is apparent that attention to detail is important. It is close to a lot of attractions and a short drive to the inlet and boardwalk.

We loved this unit. Beautifully decorated and amazing use of space. Comfortable beds and very clean. So many extras onsite for an easy stay. It was perfect off season in May. We enjoyed the pool and sauna. The lobby and amenities are very well cared for. The parking is a breeze. We easily visited and parked at various spots on the OC boardwalk where our son scootered around and most things were already open for weekends. We definitely would come back to this unit!

What a great find! We loved this place located in the Makai building. Beautiful views looking towards the ocean and a pool view towards amazing sunsets. Rooms were clean, the right size and having two bathrooms with showers was perfect for our family. Lots of room to stock the kitchen with food for breakfast and lunch and close top our favorites for dinner. Four minute walk to the beach and plenty of parking. We loved it!

This rental was exactly what we were looking for. Family of 5 with big kids, my boys shared the bedroom with the bunk beds and my daughter slept on the pull out couch. The place was impeccably clean and convenient to the midtown area as advertised. Most things were walking distance, ie beach, restaurants, Seacrets and shopping. The condo is small but it was perfect for what we needed which was a home base for washing up and relaxing in between activities.

The condo was exactly as described, clean & spacious. makai 2 is BEAUTIFUL! I was worried about taking enough things to make our stay comfortable. This place comes over stocked! I left behind my extras for the next guest. It’s just like being at home, but you can see the beautiful ocean . Kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, plates, utensils ... everything you need plus more. The bathrooms also clean and stocked. Except towels but the washer and dryer were a huge help with that. Washed all our clothes before we came home. Made coming home and unpacking a breeze. I LOVED this place. My son loved playing pool downstairs when it rained there’s also a indoor swimming pool. We were a very close walk to the beach. The Rhonda is also super helpful and is fast to answer and ?’s. Parking was never a issue also and we have a huge vehicle. Thanks for a great stay! See ya next August

My family and I were so pleased and impressed with how beautiful the condo was. It had everything we needed in it and it was super clean. It was cozy and had a beautiful view of the ocean! The condo was even better in person! My kids loved the bunk beds and my hubby and I loved that we could access the balcony from our bedroom. The condo had everything we needed was clean and very nicely decorated! We will be back. The location was perfect, a five minute walk to the beach and the seafood restaurant directly across the street was amazing! You have to try the fried shrimp and crab legs!
This condo was clean and had a great location. The beach, restaurants, and shops were all within walking distance. The balcony looks out to Coastal Highway, so you could hear the traffic, but it was lovely to be able to sit outside in the mornings and evenings. We'd definitely recommend this to others visiting OC.
